Job Opportunities

Electrician & Electrical Helpers

GCEC is looking to hire Electricians and Electrical Helpers for projects in the hill country area of Texas. The pay range of an electrician is $25-30 per hour based on experience and Electrical Helper position pay ranges from $15-20 per hour based on experience. Lead Electricians will be provided company truck with clean driving record. Electrical Helper applicants must have a personal vehicle. All applicants should be prepared for labor up to 40+ hours a week. GCEC provides weekly pay for all craftsmen with no week in the hole. GCEC strives to create and maintain a safe work environment for all our employees.

GCEC Electrical Helper & Electrician Requirements

  • Valid drivers license and/or state electrical license

  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds

  • 18+ years of age

GCEC Electrical Helper & Electrician Standards

  • Maintain a professional attitude

  • Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots) when required on site

  • Quality Workmanship

  • Arrive on time with a great attitude everyday

Electrical Helper & Electrician Responsibilities

  • Assist other Electrical employees

  • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings

  • Help Install conduits and pipes for wires and cables

  • Make proper repairs and corrections

  • Operate proper hand tools

  • Use ladders and scaffolding when necessary
