Electrician & Electrical Helpers
GCEC is looking to hire Electricians and Electrical Helpers for projects in the hill country area of Texas. The pay range of an electrician is $25-30 per hour based on experience and Electrical Helper position pay ranges from $15-20 per hour based on experience. Lead Electricians will be provided company truck with clean driving record. Electrical Helper applicants must have a personal vehicle. All applicants should be prepared for labor up to 40+ hours a week. GCEC provides weekly pay for all craftsmen with no week in the hole. GCEC strives to create and maintain a safe work environment for all our employees.
GCEC Electrical Helper & Electrician Requirements
Valid drivers license and/or state electrical license
Ability to stand, kneel, bend for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
18+ years of age
GCEC Electrical Helper & Electrician Standards
Maintain a professional attitude
Appropriate PPE (Hard hat, vest, steel toe boots) when required on site
Quality Workmanship
Arrive on time with a great attitude everyday
Electrical Helper & Electrician Responsibilities
Assist other Electrical employees
Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings
Help Install conduits and pipes for wires and cables
Make proper repairs and corrections
Operate proper hand tools
Use ladders and scaffolding when necessary
